7 hot tips to get you through winter

Just in case there is someone out there reading this that hasn't stepped foot outside this week, it's freaking freezing out there! Yes, we are in the middle of a bomb cyclone, and yes the cold temperatures combined with the brutal winds make us want to never leave the warmth of our beds ever again. The bummer news is that things don't seem to heating up anytime soon. The good news, is that we have seven hot tips to get you through the thick of winter.

Vinyasa Yoga

Get stretchy and steamy at a local hot yoga studio. You'll feel 100x more zen when you emerge, despite the doom and gloom of winter weather. You can take all that warmth with you and carry the torch all day long. While there are a lot of fantastic hot yoga studios in town, we have a soft spot for Mind the Mat Del Ray, where we did a 30-days-of-hot-yoga challenge in 2016. In addition to hot yoga, they offer hot pilates, which we fell in love with!

Fondue

If you're looking for a fun twist on date night, nothing spurs romance like melted cheese or chocolate. Gaze into your beloved’s eyes and dunk, eat, repeat at these five spots around the DMV, then use their dip tips and recipes for your own fondue experience at home.
