Santa Claus is comin' to town!
And he is stepping out of the mall --- making stops for photo-ops and holiday fun with your whole family. Get in the Christmas spirit and maybe even take your yearly Christmas cards at one of these festivities in Washington, D.C.
Location: College Park Aviation Museum

About: Watch Santa fly in to the College Park airport in a helicopter to kick off the holiday season! Little ones can make arts and crafts and also take their picture with Santa! Admission costs $5.
Location: Roof Terrace Restaurant

About: Bethesda is putting on a festival to celebrate the start of the holiday season! Santa will be visiting from 2-4 p.m. , ready to take pictures! There will also be performances, including a concert from local school choirs, ice sculpting and other entertainment to ring in the holiday.
Location: Old Town Alexandria Waterfront
Date: Dec. 24
Time: 1 p.m.
About: This is probably the most-buzzed about NOVA Christmas Eve tradition! Santa on water-skis, how much cooler does it get? Enjoy the show from along the waterfront, and you may even have a chance to chat/take pictures with Santa after he's done water-skiing!
Location: National Capitol Trolley Museum
Dates: Saturdays and Sundays in December (Dec.1 & 2, 8 & 9, 15 & 16, and 22 & 23)
Times: 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
About: Hop on a streetcar with your little ones and Santa will visit you while aboard! Take some time to enjoy the decorated museum and holiday toy train display. Standard admission ticket prices will be in effect each event day: $10 for adults and $8 for children and seniors.

Dates: Saturdays in December (Dec.1, Dec. 8, Dec. 15, Dec. 22)
Times: 12 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
About: Head to the National Harbor with the whole family for an afternoon of holiday fun! Each Saturday in December leading up to Christmas, Santa spends time at the Carousel and the Capital Wheel (from 12 p.m.-2 p.m.), a holiday movie plays at 4:45 p.m. and then the tree lighting and fireworks show begins at 5:30 p.m.
