I don't consider summer to be over until I've had at lease one funnel cake at a county fair. Thankfully, we are knee-deep in fair season, so I know that the powdered sugar and dough will be in my belly soon! Beyond my beloved county fair sweet treats, there are rides, games, fried foods that should never be fried and festivities for the whole family to enjoy. Some fairs are going on this weekend, but there are many others taking place throughout the rest of the month and September. Don't miss out on that all-American fun!
