My new motto when it comes to bachelor/bachelorette picks is whether I understand/like them/agree with the choice, they are still the pick, I'm still going to be tuning in and I'm still going to be obsessively writing about them for approximately eight weeks, so I might as well learn everything I can about our next leading lady, am I right? (Image: ABC/Craig Sjodin)

After spending her first season with the franchise fighting -- sometimes literally{ } -- for the lead Colton Underwood's heart, Hannah B. (P.S. The "B" stands for Brown) was eliminated in episode 7, after meeting Colton's parents. (Image: ABC/Craig Sjodin)
But now, Hannah Beast is about to the be the one breaking up the fights, rather than starting them, as she takes her seat on the throne as the star of Bachelorette Season 15! (Image: ABC/Eric McCandless)
So what do we know about this southern belle so far? A decent amount actually! (Image: ABC/Rick Rowell)
First of all, she's a lady of many nicknames. She's gone from simple and sweet "Alabama Hannah" to her self proclaimed title of "Hot Mess Express" and finally to the fierce "Hannah Beast." (Image: ABC/Rick Rowell)
Following in her parents footsteps, Hannah graduated magna cum laude from University of Alabama in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in communications and information sciences. (Image: ABC/Rick Rowell)
Hannah is a passionate fan of the Crimson Tide (Roll Tide!) and never misses a game. We've already heard rumors that her season will feature promos shot at the University, and inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. Her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, declined to allow filming inside the house. (Image: ABC/Rick Rowell)
After graduation, Hannah went on to work in interior design, but also found time to win the title of Miss Alabama USA 2018. She went on to compete in the Miss USA pageant, though she did not place. Throughout her pageant time, she became besties with another future Bachelorette contestant, Caelynn. (Image: ABC/Rick Rowell)
The two spent the first few episodes of Colton's season feuding, and for a while it looked like Hannah B. might become the villain of the season. Scroll wayyyy back through Hannah's Insta account (itsalabamahannah) or the official Miss Alabama account (missalusa) to see the ladies' happier days. (Image: ABC/Rick Rowell)
I have to admit, I was really hoping we'd learn the real reason for the feud at some point this season, but alas we never did Ultimately the former friends agreed to put their past behind them and call a cease fire, and seemed to stay out of each other's way for the rest of the season.{ } (Image: ABC/Rick Rowell)
When the rumors started swirling for the next Bachelorette pick, and Caelynn and Hannah B. seemed to be the front runners, I started having flashbacks to Kaitlyn Bristowe's season and wondered if we'd get another season pitting two ladies against one another, beauty pageant style. (Image: ABC/Josh Vertucci)
While Hannah B. and Colton's romance started out shaky{ } -- remember that first horribly awkward one-on-one date where she couldn't even look at him in the hot tub or even make a simple toast? --{ } the connection grew quickly after their first one-on-one dinner, and eventually Colton was bringing her home to meet the parents. (Image: ABC/Josh Vertucci)
Unfortunately while Hannah was gushing to Colton's parents about how in love she was... (Image: ABC/Josh Vertucci)
.... Colton was confessing to his dad that he had doubts about Hannah, and his dad encouraged him to just follow his gut. (Image: ABC/Josh Vertucci)
Ultimately, Colton admitted that he wasn't sure their relationship could catch up to others he had, and he sent a tearful Hannah home. (Image: ABC/Josh Vertucci)
At one of the most petty and catty Women Tell All's I've ever had to endure, Hannah B. came out looking like an angel. She opened up to Chris Harrison about how her experience on The Bachelor, and her relationship with Colton, changed her for the better, and allowed her to see that she never wanted to settle for something just because everyone around her was doing it. Image: ABC/Eric McCandless)
So what might Miss Hannah be looking for in a suitor? Well, according to her ABC bio, she likes it when her date opens all the doors and pulls her chair out for her, she loves country music and she loves board games. We are sensing a southern gentleman theme here! (Image: ABC/Eric McCandless)
But, Hannah said it best in her rather eloquent exit interview from Colton's season. "The desire of my heart is to be loved so fearlessly by somebody. I will not allow myself to not feel chosen every single day. And I’ll wait till whenever that is." (Image: ABC/Eric McCandless)
And on that note Hannah, I'll be right here rooting for you to find someone who can match your fearless love, who will choose you every single day and who will only ever bring out the best Hannah Beast in you, because girl, we ALL deserve to find that. (Image: ABC/Eric McCandless)
