Lightwell Survey Wine Dinner at Primrose: On Monday, February 19 at 6:30 p.m. Primrose Wine Bar’s Sebastian Zutant will host a private dinner alongside winemaker Ben Jordan, introducing their wine, Lightwell Survey. Sebastian and Ben will lead guests on an exploration of four styles of the small-batch natural wines, made locally in Virginia at Early Mountain Vineyards. Guests will enjoy dish pairings from Primrose’s executive chef, Nathan Beauchamp. Tickets are available for $100 plus tax, by emailing info@primrose.com.

NewsBash at Pearl Street Warehouse: NewsBash, the breast cancer charity founded in 2008 by Washington-area anchorwomen, announces the return of its fundraising event on Tuesday, February 20, from 7-9 p.m. at Pearl Street Warehouse. Supporters, survivors and friends will come together for the evening to help raise awareness for breast cancer and to raise funds for this year’s beneficiary, Breast Care for Washington, whose mission is to reduce breast cancer mortality in the Washington, D.C. area by promoting access to breast cancer screening, diagnostics, and treatment to all women regardless of their ability to pay.

Yoga in The Underground at Dupont Underground:This winter, Dupont Underground will present a new interactive yoga journey to compliment the video installation designed by Tim McLoraine. With layered videos and over saturated colors, the pieces in this show have a richness and depth both visually and in their implied narrative. Every other Wednesday, you can enjoy a one hour, all-level yoga practice -- under ground -- in the colorful art-splashed hallways. Space is limited. BYO yoga mat. Bar Manager Chris Martino will be whipping up cherry and blackberry margaritas - made with fresh juices and homemade syrups, Avion tequila, and DeKuyper triple sec – as well as the restaurant’s signature classic margarita, for $9 each. Goat Underground: The Fainting Goat’s celebrated Goat Underground dinner returns this month on Thursday, February 22 in celebration of Chinese New Year. Partners Nathan Beauchamp and Greg Algie will bring their Hong-Kong inspired restaurant, Tiger Fork to The Fainting Goat to honor the Lunar New Year and welcome the Year of the Dog. The intimate dining experience, reserved for just eight guests, will take place at 7 p.m. Chef Nathan will showcase a menu inspired by traditional Chinese New Year dishes, with each course representing a specific virtue to bring good luck in the New Year. The full tasting menu will be revealed to guests upon arrival. Tickets are available for $125 per person including innovative drink pairings by bar director JD Quioco ($95 pp without pairings.)
