Out & About: Bootleg Shakespeare, 80s parties & 6 other events to spice up the week

Monday, July 24

Bootleg Shakespeare: 'Henry VI, Part 2' at the Folger Theatre: The Taffety Punk Bootleggers return to the Folger Theatre for more Shakespeare fun. The concept of the production is that the actors show up the day of the show with just their lines known, only one rehearsal the day of the show, D.I.Y costumes and improvised staging, and the show must go on whether they’re ready or not! They will be performing “Henry VI Part 2,” the sequel to last summer's “Henry VI Part 1.” Show starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are free and will be given out at the door beginning at 6 p.m.!
