Curling & Cocktails: Make your Mondays more fun this January with Curling & Cocktails! Starting at 7:30 pm for a free, a friendly game of curling on the Wharf ice rink. Warm up with a round of this Scottish game – or simply sample some winter cocktails from the sidelines. Go with a friend or you'll be matched with a partner when you arrive. Beginners welcome and encouraged! Must wear soft-soled tennis shoes.

The Washington Auto Show: Designated one of the nation’s top five auto shows by the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers, The Washington Auto Show, a world class event, continues to wow audiences with its cutting-edge exhibits, latest model cars and displays of historic vehicles. Along with the engineering prowess on display among the more than 600 new models from over 35 manufacturers, the 2018 show will feature VIP tours led by award-winning automotive writers and a special exhibit area for live painting of “art” cars. Visually and aurally mesmerizing, Parallel Universe is the first solo retrospective exhibit for an internationally acclaimed Turkish art studio Ouchhh. Comprised of four installations, three world traveled and one created in collaboration with ARTECHOUSE specially for this show, it is a hypnotic and immersive multi-sensory experience unlike anything.

Oliver's Cider & Perry Pintxos Party with Tom Oliver: Tom Oliver, brings his traditional English ciders to a Basque-inspired pintxos bar at ANXO for a memorable crossing of food and beverage cultures. Tickets include two hours of unlimited pours of Ocle as well as samples of many other Oliver and ANXO ciders and two hours of unlimited pintxos from the bar selections. Tickets for this event are $50.

Washington Wizards vs. Oklahoma City Thunder: Spend your Tuesday night cheering on the Washington Wizards as they taken on the Oklahoma City Thunder. Game starts at 7 p.m.

Teddy & the Bully Bar Hosts Barrel Release Event Featuring Jos. A. Magnus & Co. Distillery: Teddy & the Bully Bar, the presidential inspired restaurant located in Dupont Circle invites guests to come and sample their new Barrel No. 5 and two craft cocktails on Wednesday, January 31st at 6 pm. All new releases feature local distillery Jos. A. Magnus spirits. Teddy & the Bully Bar will offer complimentary bar bites, barrel and cocktail tastings, and Magnus tastings.

Union Market Talks - Chocolate: Bean, Bar & Beyond: On Thursday, February 1 at 9 am, a panel of local, national and international chocolate makers will come together at Union Market to talk about chocolate production and the development of the fair trade of cacao in Latin America. Renowned health policy expert and artisan chocolate bar producer Zeke Emanuel will lead the discussion entitled “Chocolate: Bean, Bar and Beyond.”
