Royal Knights Absinthe Minded: Catch guest bartender Will Patton of Bresca behind the stick with Jake Kenny and Alonzo Freeman, serving up $8 absinthe cocktails, green fairy jello shots, absinthe boilermakers with Atlas Brew Works. Free to attend.

Tuesday, August 21

Navy Band Performance: From John Coltrane and Clark Terry to Artie Shaw, the U.S. Navy Band Commodores, the Navy’s premier jazz ensemble, celebrate their 49th year serving the Navy and the nation through the legacy of America’s quintessential art form: jazz. Free to attend

Wednesday, August 22

Booze Brews: Several of DC’s favorite bartenders like Christian Johnston of RPM and Joseph Garcia of Alta Strada, as well as top breweries like Starr Hill, will compete to create the best beer-forward cocktails and a chance to be featured on DBGB DC’s menu through September. Guests will have the opportunity to cast their vote which will enter them into a raffle to win exciting prizes from the participating breweries. Tickets are $40.

DJ Music in The Yard: Indulge in specialty libations mixed to the sultry beats of DINO Beats & Beautiful music. Guests are invited to enjoy $10 frosé and half off all rosé wines (glass or bottle) under a canopy of trees strung with soft globe lights throughout the night.

Wednesday at the Wharf: Head to Transit Pier for the last Wednesday at the Wharf of the summer and enjoy a free performance by the 19th Street Band. Bring your kids or pets. Free to attend.

Bachelors and Brews Yappy Hour: Mix and mingle with our 2018 class of Most Eligible Bachelors and some adorable adoptable dogs from Lucky Dog Animal Rescue at Midlands Beer Garden! Enjoy brews, vino or a signature cocktail, snacks, raffles and fantastic conversation with some of the District's greatest single men! Tickets are $30 and include two drink tickets, a food ticket and a swag bag.

The Greatest Generation Live Show: Catch a live taping of this Star Trek podcast, discussing the 1982 film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Benjamin Ahr Harrison and Adam Pranica tell you what’s great, what’s bad, and what’s hilarious about the show they grew up loving, and still do. It’s a little bit nerdy, a lot filthy, and exposes some of Adam and Ben’s most embarrassing stories from their dorky childhoods. Tickets are $25.
