Monday, August 14

Family Day at the Montgomery County Fair: The Montgomery County Fair is open from now until August 19. Adult tickets are $12 and children 11 & under are free. Make sure to hit up the fair before it's gone and eat a funnel cake!

Tuesday, August 15

Mary J. Blige at MGM National Harbor: The Grammy award winning singer/songwriter, Mary J. Blige brings her 'Strength of a Women' tour to the MGM National Harbor on Tuesday night. The show starts at 8 p.m.

Washington Nationals vs. Los Angeles Angels: Get your Nats gear on and head out to Nats Park to cheer on the home team as they take on the LA Angels. Game starts at 7:05 p.m.

Wednesday, August 16

Cirque du Soleil: OVO: Insects work, play, fight and look for love in a non-stop riot of energy in motion. Their home is filled with biodiversity, beauty, action and moments of quiet emotion. The awestruck insects are intensely curious when a mysterious egg appears, representing the enigma and cycles of their lives. She the show at the EagleBank Arena from August 16 - August 20. Tickets start at $49.

Late Night at the Hive: Experience Hive after-hours with musical performances, drinks and food from Hill Country’s Backyard Barbecue, and more. Tickets for Late Nights and special programs are sold separately and are not included in general admission.

Thursday, August 17

DC Beer Week Kick(off) a Keg for Charity: Roofers Union helps kick off DC Beer Week the Thursday beforehand with a ‘kick the keg’ charity event at 6 p.m. benefiting organizations chosen by six local breweries. A select draft from each DC brewery (3 Stars, DC Brau, Hellbender, Right Proper, Bluejacket, and Atlas) will be available for $7; the first brewery’s keg to kick wins the crown of people’s choice. A portion of proceeds from the drafts on special will be donated to charities chosen by the breweries.
