NGA Ice Rink Opens: Strap on some skates and hit the ice, as ice skating season officially "skates off" at the National Gallery of Art this Sunday. After a few weather-related setbacks, the rink is expected to open on Sunday and remain open through March 10. Enjoy your skate surrounded by museums, monuments and large-scale sculptures by modern and contemporary artists such as Louise Bourgeois, Alexander Calder, Tony Smith, Roy Lichtenstein and Roxy Paine. Tickets are $9 for adults and $8 for kids and seniors.
DC Brau x Jameson Caskmates Barrel Aged Beer Celebration: Enjoy a night of beer, cocktails and more when DC Brau & Jameson Whiskey take over Jack Rose for a collaboration beer celebration. Based on the true story and 2005 film, Silent Night features Pulitzer Prize–winning music in multiple languages, capturing humanity and hope amidst a devastating war. Tickets start at $35.
Bolivian Wine Dinner: Head out to Lyon Hall as they explore the wines of Bolivia with winemaker Francisco Roig. You'll enjoy six wines, one cocktail and a five-course seated dinner -- Roig will walk you through the wine pairings with each course. Tickets are $80.
