Tequila & Mezcal Festival Kick Off Party: Celebrate the unique and delicious spirits of Mexico with an all-inclusive party featuring 15 tequila, mezcal and beer tasting bars, food stations, passed bites and specialty cocktails, music and photo booth. Tickets are $49.

Michelin All-Star Dinner: Plume x Blue Duck Tavern: Celebrating DC’s expanded 14 Michelin-starred restaurants, the Michelin Guide is hosting a rare, ticketed public dinner on March 6th at 6:30 p.m. – crafted by the chefs at two of DC’s Michelin mainstays, Plume and Blue Duck Tavern. Would you consider sharing this one-time event with readers? Hosted at Plume, the Michelin All-Star Dinner will be a collaboration between Executive Chefs Ralf Schlegel (Plume) and Daniel Hoefler (Blue Duck Tavern). Patrons will enjoy a five-course, wine-paired dinner inspired by both chefs’ German heritage, with items such as Fluke Crudo from Chef Daniel, Partridge Breast with Frankfurt Green Sauce from Chef Ralf, along with a Braised Beef Cheek and Beef Filet from both chefs, finished with Oriado Chocolate Ganache and Sea Buckthorn Sorbet for dessert.

Taylor Gourmet presents 'Dainty Doesn’t Do It': To commemorate International Women’s Day, D.C.’s favorite handcrafted hoagie shop Taylor Gourmet is hosting a hospitality panel at its headquarters on March 7, headlined by some of the region’s most influential women in food. The Wing DC General Manager Shana Steele will moderate a passionate discussion covering the quality of D.C.’s hospitality talent pool, achieving gender parity, combating harassment and other relevant issues impacting the local culinary workforce. The evening will feature complimentary wine, beer and delicious bites, as well as a post-discussion mixer with the panelists.

Michelin All-Star Wine Dinner with Plume: On March 7 at 6:30 p.m., Michelin Guide will host a second rare dinner arranged by Plume’s Executive Chef Ralf Schlegel and The Jefferson’s Wine Director David Metz. The event will take place in the hotel’s Private Cellar lined with display lockers and wine cabinets. The evening will involve a reception to start and a four-course dinner inspired by the origin of wine selected by David Metz. The menu will include items such as Lemon & Butter Poached Lobster, Scottish Sea Trout, Virginia Venison Saddle and Satsuma Mandarin.

Crooked Run Beer Dinner: Join Roofers Union for a special beer dinner on March 7 presented with Crooked Run, Northern Virginia’s seldom-seen and much sought-after craft brewery. Beer Director/General Manager Dave Delaplaine and Executive Chef Jenn Flynn partnered with Crooked Run to craft a $65 four-course dinner menu, weaving together flavors, tastes, and aromas of the dishes and beers for a thoroughly delightful experience.

National Symphony Orchestra: John Adams's The Gospel According to the Other Mary: In celebration of John Adams's 70th birthday year, Gianandrea Noseda conducts Adams's expansive composition for chorus, soloists, and orchestra depicting Jesus's final weeks as told from the unique perspective of Mary Magdalene.

International Women's Day Tattoo Event at Laughing Hyena Tattoos: Laughing Hyena Tattoos will be offering special tattoo design's in support of woman all over the world. Tattoos will be priced at $40. $20 will cover the cost of supplies and the other half of the proceeds will go to Planned Parenthood.

PPMW + ANXO Celebrate International Women's Day: Celebrate the best day of the year, International Women’s Day, with ANXO Cidery & Pintxos Bar and Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, D.C. on March 8! Join them for “A Wild Night: The Story of Basandere,” an evening of ciders, cocktails and women's health initiatives! There will be ciders featured from women-owned cideries, information on PPMW's HIV prevention initiatives for women in the District & more! All donations from the evening will benefit Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, D.C.
