Pets of the Week: Bella and Nova

Meet Bella!

If you are looking for one beautiful, sweet and petite senior lady, Bella is your girl. Her owner moved and couldn't take her along. Bella is a lap-loving and friendly girl, who is easy to handle, but sometimes a little shy. Even though shy, she does like to talk!

What she needs now is a loving new home where she can spend her sunset years with lots of attention and a quiet place in the sun. In return for that, this lovely lady will promise you wonderful companionship and affection. Stop by the Humane Rescue Alliance’s Oglethorpe Street Adoption Center to meet Bella soon.

Meet Nova!

Nova is a three year old girl, a bit on the shy side, but looking for a calm, quiet home where she can blossom!

Nova was found as a stray with an untreated, badly broken right front leg. After examining Nova, our medical team determined that amputation was the best course of treatment for Nova, so she is now a “tri-pawd.” She is still learning to get around on three legs, but she’s doing a great job and learning quickly!

Because Nova has had a rough early life and she is shy, she would do well with adopters who will be patient with her and help her slowly become more used to the world around her. Come out and meet Nova at the Oglethorpe Street Adoption Center! She can’t wait to find her forever home.
