Don’t let his name mislead you; this guy is actually a very mellow fellow with a lot of love to give. Storm is an 11-year-old Rottweiler mix, a senior dog who was brought to the Humane Rescue Alliance recently when his previous owner could no longer afford to care for him.
At just over 100 pounds, he is a gentle giant who loves to be petted and get belly rubs. At his age, he’s not looking to run around all day and would much prefer to nap with his human friends or maybe curl up on a soft dog bed with a toy. If you're looking for an easy-going companion to spend your days with, Storm may be perfect for you! He’s hoping for a quiet, adults-only home where he can get all of the love and attention. While he doesn’t require a lot of exercise, Storm’s mind is still sharp and he would enjoy some puzzle toys in his new home.
Storm qualifies for HRA’s Boomers’ Buddies program, so if you are over 50 years of age, his adoption fee will be waived. Stop by the New York Avenue Adoption Center to meet Storm!
How can you say no to that head tilt and those "puppy dog" eyes—especially when they belong to a dog as adorable as Bridget? This wiggly social pup came to Humane Rescue Alliance as a stray, but she must have had a family at some point because she’s incredibly friendly and loves all people.
Bridget is only 8 months old, so she’s still a puppy with plenty of enthusiasm and energy. She adores toys and will happily entertain herself for hours with a peanut butter-stuffed Kong or a good chew toy.
If you're looking for a playful pup for your family, stop by HRA’s New York Avenue Adoption Center and meet Bridget today.
