Boy, do we have two cuties for you!
Meet Ruckus! This guy is anything but a “ruckus.” Very sweet and calm, this eight-year-old gentleman is looking for a good home where he will be loved and nursed back to health. Ruckus came to the Humane Rescue Alliance after a rough time, but the medical team here has worked hard to give this little guy a chance to be adopted. He has overcome some challenges, including an injured tail that required amputation. Now all he wants is to curl up in a human companion’s lap and spend some quality time together. If you give him a chance, his gentle nature and loving disposition will win your heart. We suggest a home without kids because Ruckus does like to guard his food. He will make a really great companion for an owner who is willing to work with him and give him all the love he deserves. Come meet Ruckus today at the Humane Rescue Alliance’s Oglethorpe Street adoption center.
And along came Polly, a pretty one-year-old Torbie. She had a home but, sadly, her owner could no longer care for her. So now Miss Polly is looking for a new, loving (and forever) home. Polly is easy to handle but can be a little shy with strangers -- who can blame her given the recent upheaval in her life? But once you interact with her you’ll see what a charmer Polly can be and will want to invite her into your heart and home. As a special “thank you,” Polly’s adoption fee has been waived. Don’t miss out on this beautiful and deserving cat -- stop by the Humane Rescue Alliance’s New York Avenue adoption center and meet her soon.
