National Margarita Day with Taqueria del Barrio: Taqueria del Barrio adds specialty margarita flavors to the menu on National Margarita Day. Bar Manager Chris Martino will be whipping up cherry and blackberry margaritas - made with fresh juices and homemade syrups, Avion tequila, and DeKuyper triple sec – as well as the restaurant’s signature classic margarita, for $9 each. Classic margaritas are also available for $5 at bar and lounge seating from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. Taqueria del Barrio is open from 4pm-10pm on Thursdays, and accepts reservations over the phone at 202-723-0200.

Goat Underground: The Fainting Goat’s celebrated Goat Underground dinner returns this month on Thursday, February 22 in celebration of Chinese New Year. Partners Nathan Beauchamp and Greg Algie will bring their Hong-Kong inspired restaurant, Tiger Fork to The Fainting Goat to honor the Lunar New Year and welcome the Year of the Dog. The intimate dining experience, reserved for just eight guests, will take place at 7 p.m. Chef Nathan will showcase a menu inspired by traditional Chinese New Year dishes, with each course representing a specific virtue to bring good luck in the New Year. The full tasting menu will be revealed to guests upon arrival. Tickets are available for $125 per person including innovative drink pairings by bar director JD Quioco ($95 pp without pairings.)
