Annual Veterans Day Concert: The National Veterans Day Concert honors the men, women and families who have served our country in the Armed Forces. Old Ellicott City Veterans Day Parade: Celebrate America’s heroes along our Main Street at the 3rd annual Old Ellicott City Veterans Day Parade. The parade begins at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church Ellicott City at 1pm then will travel down Main St to the train bridge. A ceremony to honor veterans will take place at the B&O Railroad Museum Plaza with Howard County Executive Allan Kittleman and Councilman Jon Weinstein at the conclusion of the parade.

Dim Sum Brunch at SUCCOTASH Penn Quarter: Chef Edward Lee and the newly opened SUCCOTASH Penn Quarter will welcome fellow James Beard Award nominee, Chef Rachel Yang from Seattle, as she debuts her first cookbook, My Rice Bowl, on Sunday, November 12th. Chef Edward and Chef Rachel will be making a special dim sum brunch menu including dumplings, rice bowls and kimchi, among other small plates and passed appetizers. Rachel will be on hand to discuss her recipes and sign cookbooks from 12 -2pm. Guests can reserve their tickets online for $40 which includes food, a welcome cocktail, tax and gratuity. Cookbooks will be available for purchase throughout the event.
