DC Central Kitchen's Capital Food Fight: Taste food and drink from more than 80 of DC’s best restaurants and mixologists while enjoying a live onstage culinary battle. This year’s celebrity hosts include event founder and chair, José Andrés, and co-hosts of Food Network’s “Kitchen Sink," Spike Mendelsohn, Tregaye Fraser, and Fanny Slater. Nationals’ Ryan Zimmerman, Adam Richman (TV personality), and NYC- based Joseph “JJ” Johnson (Chef/Owner, Ingrained Hospitality Concepts) will join as judges.

Beaujolais Nouveau Day at Central Michel Richard: Downtown D.C.’s favorite French-American bistro Central Michel Richard (1001 Pennsylvania Avenue NW) is excited to share popular French holiday Beaujolais Nouveau Day with the District! This year on Thursday, November 16 Central will commemorate the grape harvest by offering menu pairings and wine specials. To celebrate this beloved occasion, Central’s executive chef Tony Roussel will offer the famous Domaine Dupeuble Beaujolais Nouveau ($10 glass, $38 a bottle) for guests to pair with French classics such as fois gras and chicken boudin blanc with sage and veal jus served alongside garlic mashed potatoes and black truffle ($16).

ICE! at the Gaylord National Resort: Visitors will be captivated by stunning, larger-than-life vignettes that bring to life the beloved 1964 TV classic, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, in ICE!, presented by Pepsi. The 9-degree walk-through attraction features 13 scenes of more than two million pounds of hand-carved ice sculptures including everyone’s favorite characters – Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Hermey the Elf, Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster and more. ICE! is open daily from November 18, 2017 through January 1, 2018. Tickets cost $32 for adults ages 12 and older and $24 for children ages 4 to 11 on value days; $38 for adults and $31 for children on general admission days; and $39 for adults and $32 for children on peak days. Kids 3 and younger are free.

Macy's Metro Center Christmas Window Unveiling: Macy’s Metro Center will have its Annual Holiday Window Unveiling Spectacular on Saturday, November 18th at 3:00 p.m. Guests are invited to a day of fun and excitement with live performances, meet-and-greets, enjoyable family activities and more. At 3:00 p.m., a special holiday ceremony outside on G Street will kick off the excitement of this year’s magical window unveiling.
