Capital Pride's Rooftop Pool Party: Connect with volunteers, donors, and all supporters of Capital Pride Alliance to enjoy an evening under the stars and in the pool on the roof deck of VIDA at The Yards. DJ’s will be spinning the beast as you take a swim, enjoy some cocktails, and appetizers.

Friday, June 9

Dierks Bentley, Cole Swindell & Jon Pardi at Jiffy Lube Live: Grab your cowboy/cowgirl boots and get ready for an unforgettable summer concert! The show starts at 7 p.m.

Summer Fridays at the National Harbor: Start your weekend right with Summer Fridays at National Harbor! Play cornhole, giant Jenga, hula hoops, hopscotch, and more with family and friends. Enjoy performances by Bobby McKey’s, giveaways, and listen to the DJ spin your favorite summer jams.

Del Campo at Dusk: Del Campo at Dusk returns with a Mambo & Mojitos-themed summer rooftop party. There will be mojitos (of course), medianoche sandwiches, croquettas, ropa vieja and more, along with panoramic views of downtown D.C. Tickets are $35 per person including unlimited food and access to a cash bar.

Pride & Shine Party: Urbana is welcoming everyone to celebrate the 2017 Pride weekend. Perfectly situated at the start of the Capital Pride parade route, Urbana is hosting “Pride & Shine,” an all-day Pride party on Saturday, June 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The restaurant will be transformed into a lively Pride celebration complete with food, libations, entertainment, and a fierce dance party.

Capital Pride Parade: Save the Date for the 2017 Capital Pride Parade presented by Marriott International! Join 125,000 people and watch this landmark event, one of Washington, DC’s favorite parades! The Capital Pride Parade travels 1.5 miles through Dupont Circle and 17th Street and ends near 14th St. and S St.

Pups in the Park: Nationals vs. Rangers: Take your pup to the ball game! 100% of the proceeds from your dog ticket benefits the Humane Rescue Alliance.

American Field DC to Host First Annual Spring Event: The marketplace pop-up offering the best American-made brands and the people behind them is returning to the District, this time for a spring event. From June 10-11, American Field will bring more than 75 vendors of American-made products back to Dock5 at Union Market. The event will run from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. each day and is free and open to the public.

11th Annual Beltway BBQ Showdown: The 11th Annual Beltway BBQ Showdown contest highlights the art of barbecuing in Prince George’s County and the Mid-Atlantic region! This BBQ festival offers live music, a Classic Car Show, food and craft vendors and an awesome children's area full of fun things to do.

Bethesda Row Fashion Carnival: From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Bethesda Row will transform into a fashion funhouse featuring all things en vogue. Part fashion, part spectacle, the whimsical afternoon will showcase summer fashions and freaky fun including fashion-themed carnival games and prizes, mane tamers, skinny funhouse mirrors, fashion"icons", flower crowns, a mini fashionista dress-up closet and more.

Books In Bloom: Books in Bloom will bring together some of the country’s best and brightest writers for a daylong festival celebrating the joy of books and reading at the Chrysalis in Merriweather Park at Symphony Woods. Guests can register for the free festival at booksinbloom.eventbrite.com.
