Shop for a cause with South Moon Under: During the month of March, members of the community have an exciting opportunity to support their favorite businesses and Make March Matter for the 230,000 kids cared for by Children’s National each year. South Moon Under in support of Children's National Health System will host a shopping event to raise much needed funds for kids at the hospital. Shop from 6 - 8 p.m. at South Moon Under Georgetown and a portion of proceeds will benefit Children’s National Health System.
Distillery Lane Ciderworks Spring Blossom Launch: Spring blossoms bring spring ciders at Adams Morgan wine bar Jug & Table, starting with a special Spring Blossom Launch presented with Distillery Lane Ciderworks on Thursday, March 22. Jug & Table will be the first bar in DC to pour the cidery’s 2018 batch of Spring Blossom, a 7.5% ABV cider blended and fermented with regionally sourced sour cherry juice, from 6pm to close for $7 per glass.

D.C.’s first ever Tulip Festival: On March 23, D.C.’s first ever Tulip Festival will be in The Park at City Center. Bloomia’s Field of Tulips is a whimsical and interactive installation that will allow visitors to get lost in an urban field of more than 40,000 tulips. Entry into the garden is free and you can take a piece of spring home with you for $1/stem. Every purchase made supports DC Central Kitchen.
8th Annual March150 Art Party: Target Gallery’s popular annual exhibition and art sale, March150, returns! The March150 Art Party, presented by the Factory Society, is the closing reception for Target Gallery’s March150 Special Exhibition and Art Sale, where all remaining artwork is discounted to just $100. All proceeds from artwork sales support artist stipends for future special exhibitions and programs at the Target Gallery and the Torpedo Factory Art Center.

March for our Lives: On March 24, the kids and families of March For Our Lives will take to the streets of Washington D.C. to demand that their lives and safety become a priority and that we end gun violence and mass shootings in our schools today.
Cherry Blossom Monuments Cruise: Traverse the Potomac River from Old Town Alexandria and cruise past the cherry blossoms in Washington, D.C. on the Cherry Blossom Monuments Cruise by Potomac Riverboat Company. View and listen to the history of the iconic monuments, memorials and bridges as the D.C. region awakens to spring. See beautiful cherry blossom trees as you glide past Hains Point and head onward to Georgetown. The cruise is 45 minutes one-way and approximately 90 minutes round-trip and is offered during peak bloom on weekends from March 24 to April 15, 2018.
