Thursday, July 13

ANXO One Year Anniversary Celebration: Start the day at 3:00 p.m. with an extended happy hour (half off all pintxos and select drinks), and then continue with a free Txotx (the Basque practice of catching cider straight from the barrel) on the patio. They'll have every ANXO collaboration cider to date available, as well as some special draft beers selected by Beer Director and Designer Cooper Sheehan. Potter's Craft Cider and Commonwealth Brewing will have collaborations on offer as well.

Friday, July 14

Bethesda Row Sidewalk Sale: Bethesda Row Sidewalk Sale is back from Friday, July 14 through Sunday, July 16, and will transform the open-air pedestrian walkway into a street bazaar. The perfect weekend outing for the whole family, the Sidewalk Sale will feature live entertainment and savings, samples and specials from your favorite Bethesda Row shops and restaurants. This year, attendees will have the chance to win a $100 shopping spree to Pink Palm, perfect for summery beachwear!

Saturday, July 15

Fitbit Free Workout Series: Fitbit is launching Fitbit Local D.C., a series of free, monthly workouts for the D.C. community! The kick-off event will take place on Saturday, July 15 at The Yards Park. Chris Perrin & Cynthia Lorena will lead an energizing, all-levels workout that combines a bodyweight bootcamp and yoga flow. They'll be a live DJ to keep you pumped and lots of excitement afterwards - including healthy snacks and beverages, free t-shirts and a raffle with product giveaways.

Merriweather 50th Anniversary Concert: Merriweather Post Pavilion “Greatest Hits” veterans will return to fill the venue with their respective sweet sounds to celebrate the venue's 50th anniversary. Click here for the full concert lineup.

Sweetlife Block Party: The Sweetlife Block Party is back! Hosted where Sweetlife began seven years ago behind the Dupont location on Saturday, July 15 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the Block Party celebrates music, food and the DC community. The event will be headlined by Blood Orange, the musical project of Dev Hynes, and will featuring a massive meditation led by The Big Quiet. Food from beloved Chef Erik Bruner-Yang's Maketto, Dolcezza, Compass Coffee and more. Union Market's 7th Annual DC Scoop: Union Market, northeast D.C.’s vibrant retail and culinary district, invites local families, friends and ice cream fans out for the seventh annual DC Scoop event on Saturday, July 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. The highly-anticipated, free ice cream extravaganza will take place at Dock 5 where local ice cream vendors will put their best scoops forward to win the coveted "Best Ice Cream” title, as voted on by attendees.
