Thursday, August 10

Wine Dinner -- Celebrating the Wines Of Provence: Taking place at DBGB DC on August 10, the four-course dinner will feature dishes inspired by the South of France with Provençal wine pairings. Sommelier Andrew Wooldridge has curated the dinner’s wine list to include Blanc, Rosé and Rouges from the Domaine La Bastide Blache Bandol. The evening will begin at 7pm with a reception followed by the seated dinner at 7:30PM in DBGB DC’s private dining room, The Salon Bleu. Guests can purchase tickets for $95 excluding tax and gratuity here.

Friday, August 11

The Washington Nationals vs. San Francisco Giants: Go cheer on the Nationals as they take on the San Francisco Giants. Game starts at 7:05 p.m. There is no better way to spend a Friday night in the District!

Saturday, August 12

8th Annual Alexandria Summer Sidewalk Sale: One of the longest running seasonal summer shopping events in the area returns to the D.C. region’s Shop Small destination for independent boutiques, Alexandria, Virginia, with the 8th Annual Alexandria Summer Sidewalk Sale happening Saturday and Sunday, August 12-13 throughout Old Town and Del Ray. The event will feature more than 50 Alexandria boutiques offering deeply discounted summer merchandise (up to 80% off).

Summer Crab Feast: On Saturday, August 12, Sixth Engine will host a Summer Crab Feast with two seatings: 5:30pm and 8pm. The family style meal will include all-you-can-eat steamed crabs from Capital Crab Company, hushpuppies, corn on the cob, and roasted potatoes as well as unlimited beer and wine. All-inclusive tickets are $45 per person through this Saturday, August 5, when ticket prices will increase to $55.

Moonrise Festival: Moonrise Festival, Baltimore’s flagship electronic music festival, will return to Pimlico Race Course (5201 Park Heights Avenue) on Saturday, August 12 and Sunday, August 13 for a fourth consecutive year with headlining acts Migos, Porter Robinson, Afrojack, Kaskade, Run The Jewels, Lil Uzi Vert and an additional 60+ performers. Tickets for Moonrise Festival 2017 are $174.50 for 2-Day GA Advance admission and $274.50 for 2-Day VIP admission (18+).
