Mary J. Blige at Wolf Trap: “The queen of R&B” (SPIN) known for her Grammy-winning, soulful tunes like “Family Affair,” “Real Love,” and “Thick of It” (from her upcoming album, Strength of a Woman) takes the Wolf Trap stage for a heartfelt and forceful performance. The show starts at 8 p.m.

Ommegang HBO Game of Thrones "Bend the Knee" DC Exclusive Official Launch Event at Jack Rose Dining Saloon: (May 26 - May 29)Jack Rose is kicking off Memorial Day Weekend with a highly anticipated beer launch on their lively rooftop terrace. As Game of Thrones fans are thirsting for the new season to start, Jack Rose invites you to satiate your want for Westeros by indulging in four days of beer and BBQ for Memorial Day to celebrate the show’s latest beer release in collaboration with NY’s Ommegang Brewery. Jack Rose is proud to showcase the new Ommegang Game of Thrones release – Bend the Knee — alongside two previous Game of Thrones releases and seven other beers from the Boulevard, Duvel & Ommegang family. They will also serve Game of Thrones-inspired fare off the BBQ Pit Grill. The festivities are open to the public and free to attend.

Dardanella: The Great Gatsby Lawn Party: Sprawled out before the magnificent towers of The National Cathedral, return to an older era of flapper dresses, boater hats, and the big band scores of the 1910's, 1920's, & 1930's. Two 11 piece orchestras will warm up your feet, dance performances, lessons, and contests by the Fidgety Feet, lawn games including croquet, bocce, and tug o' war, two dance floors, photo sets, food & beverage, specialty alcoholic Prohibition cocktail bars, and much more await! Period attire strongly encouraged.

Rolling Thunder: The Rolling Thunder is an annual motorcycle ride and gathering that first started in 1988. Riders from around the nation, and even around the world rally in the Pentagon parking lots and begin the run through the streets of Washington, D.C. The Rolling Thunder Run mission is to educate, facilitate, and never forget by means of a demonstration for service members that were abandoned after the Vietnam War

Doi Moi: Bird’s Eye Sandwiches x Proof All-You-Can-Eat & Drink Pig Roast: Doi Moi’s new pop-up from Chef Sasha Felikson — Bird's Eye Sandwiches — is partnering up with sister restaurant Proof for a festive all-you-can-eat-and-drink Pig Roast on Sunday, May 28 starting at 2 p.m. Proof Chef Austin Fausett and Felikson will roast a heritage pig from Spring House Farm in Virginia, serving it nose to tail with all the fixins’ ranging from potato salad, papaya salad, chilled mango soup shooters, and other creative bites! On the beverage side, they will offer unlimited draft beer, housemade radlers, and wine! Tickets are $55 ($25 for kids) which include all the food and beverages you can eat and drink.
