Jaleo’s annual Tomatina Festival: Spain’s most famous food fight coincides with the end of summer, so there’s no better time than now to indulge in specialty tapas featuring plump, juicy tomatoes paired with crisp, refreshing rosés. Summer Evenings at Hirshhorn: For the final Summer Evenings, there will be something for everyone with a special curator’s tour of "Masterworks from the Hirshhorn Collection," closing September 4, and an evening storytime for the museum’s youngest art enthusiasts!

National Harbor’s Harbor Dome: Summer Snow Globe Closing Weekend: This weekend is your last chance to chill inside the Summer Snow Globe inside National Harbor’s special events venue the Harbor Dome. Savor the last days of winter at National Harbor, MD by keeping cool inside the 64-degree dome, with periodic dustings of real snow, while enjoying a selection of specially created cocktails by Gina Chersevani of Buffalo and Bergen.

First Friday Dupont - Art Walk: Join your friends and neighbors for this self-guided art walk around Dupont Circle to visit art galleries, historic houses, retailers, and sometimes embassies.

Drink The World Fest 2017: Drink the World Festival is your passport to unlimited pours of specialty craft beers from around the world, including favorites from the local brewing scene. Immerse yourself in this one-of-a-kind experience featuring 65+ beers from around the world and navigate your way through an interactive world of beer.

DC VegFest: Compassion Over Killing is proud to present DC VegFest 2017 on Saturday, Sept. 2 from 11am-6pm in the nation’s capital. A free festival hosted outdoors at DC’s beautiful Yards Park, DC VegFest is the largest vegan celebration on the East Coast. More than 20,000 festival-goers - vegans and pre-vegans alike - are expected to attend this free event featuring expert chefs whipping up culinary creations on the main stage; an active Kids’ Zone; live music; food vendors (many offering free food samples); a beer garden, and so much more.

Saturday Cinema at Carlyle: Grab a date, the family or a group of friends, bring the lawn chairs and a picnic and enjoy a movie under the stars. This weekend's movie is 'When Harry Met Sally.'

On Sunday, September 3, the throwback nightlife venue will host the “End of Summer Cookout” on its sprawling rooftop with stunning city views. This special holiday weekend party will last until 4 a.m., so there is plenty of time to dance the night away.
