Friday, July 20

RIOT! Women in Comedy: This show, a celebration of women in comedy, will bring together today’s most hilarious comedic stars for a special evening of stand-up comedy and music. Bridget Everett, Phoebe Robinson, Amanda Seales, Melissa Villaseñor and Sasheer Zamata will join together in an one-night-only celebration emphasizing the female perspective in our rapidly evolving culture. Tickets start at $19.

Summer Concert Series with Eastport Oyster Boys: The Anne Arundel County Community is coming together for the first time with a free concert to help honor the victims of the Capital Gazette shooting. The concert will feature the local band Eastport Oyster Boys, along with the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra Strings. Free to attend.

Saturday, July 21

Air Force Max Impact: Enjoy a patriotic concert at sunset from this six-piece band performs classic and current rock and country hits, as well as patriotic favorites and original music. Free to attend

Jaws in Concert: With just two notes, Academy Award winner John Williams created a sense of fear for beachgoers that would last for decades! Head to Wolf Trap for a screening of Steven Spielberg’s Jaws as the National Symphony Orchestra performs the iconic score. The film will be projected in HD onto big screens in-house and on the lawn. Tickets star at $40.

Yoga at the U.S. Botanic Garden: Start your Saturday off on a sen note with morning yoga. Come practice with "With Love DC" in one of D.C.'s most peaceful and beautiful spaces. Bring your own mat and water. Spaces are first-come, first-serve. Free to attend.

Kitten Yoga: Join Yoga Heights at the Humane Rescue Alliance (15 Oglethorpe St NW; Mural Room) for a yoga class like none other! Shelter kittens--all available for adoption--will have the run of the room while participants enjoy a gentle yoga class. All proceeds from your ticket will support the HRA. Tickets are $25.

Lotus and Water Lily Festival: This two-day festival features performances from cultures around the world, family fun games, arts and crafts and the amazingly beautiful lotuses and water lilies in full bloom. Free to attend.

Sunday, July 22

The Tempest: Join the Britches and Hose Theatre Company for an evening of betrayal, revenge, loss and new-found love on an island inhabited by spirits, monsters, and sorcerers with their performance William Shakespeare's "The Tempest." Tickets are $15 and are purchased at the door. (There are also performances on Friday and Saturday evening)

SAAM Arcade: The fourth annual SAAM Arcade is back, with 15 indie games centered around the theme of GAME SPACES. Test out the games for yourself and get to know the developers in the Kogod Courtyard. Then, explore the rest of building for more games and celebrations, from vintage consoles to workshops and a tribute to a beloved artist. Free to attend.
