District Winery is launching the liquid lunch of your dreams

While business lunches conducted over dry martinis may not be as popular as shows like Mad Men might have us believe, there's a time and a place for enjoying a libation with lunch. And District Winery is making that easier than ever with the launch of Ana's lunch service on Monday, January 8.

As with the brunch menu rollout in October, the lunch menu will highlight chefs Benjamin Lambert and Michael Gordon's affinity for New American cuisine and international flavors, with an eclectic menu ranging from $12 duck wings to a $15 tofu katsu sandwich, $18 vegetable shawarma. Regulars will be familiar with a few of the lunch menu items which are also served at dinner or brunch, including the crab beignets -- rapidly becoming the winery's signature dish -- the butternut squash muhammara and the gruyere burger.

To top off the good news, District Winery will be kicking off weekend winery tours Saturday, January 6. Two tours will run on Saturdays at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. and one on Sundays at 6 p.m.Weekday tours will continue to be held Monday-Friday at 6 p.m. The 60-minute tour is available for up to 10 guests, costs $35 per person and includes a behind the scenes tour of how the wine gets made, a wine tasting ranging from light, floral whites to robust reds and a commemorative wine glass.
