The best happy hour deals in D.C. for every day of the week

There is no denying that everyone likes a good drink and food deal. But sometimes you just don't where the best deals are when the urge strikes. And that's where we come in!

To make sure you always know where the best happy hour specials are each day of the week, bookmark this page and refer back to it in your time of need.

You'll never be over charged at happy hour again. Problem solved!

Dino’s Grotto – Monday means all night happy hour at Dino’s. $4 brews, $5 antipasti (with choices such as duck fat potatoes and fresh mozzarella bruschetta), $6 wines, $8 cocktails, and $10 mussel pots and charcuterie boards. Get the week off to a great start!

Bar Charley – Another all night happy hour running from 5 p.m. to close, this unfussy bar’s deals include select $6 cocktails and tiki drinks, $2 off wines by the glass, and discounts on canned beers and food specials. Add to that a super chill ambiance and you won’t have a case of the Mondays any more.

Satellite room – Two dollar Tuesdays might be the best deal ever, plus it has a nice ring to it! $2 gets you rail drinks and select draft beers. Get a basket of tater tots on the side and enough said.

Smoke and Barrel - Happy hour here on Tuesday gets you $4 local drafts and $5 whiskey from 5-7 p.m., but the real steal is the Taco Tuesday specials that go alongside. For $8, you get three barbecue or vegan tacos and your choice of a side. Is it Tuesday yet?

Barrel – Tipple Time (4-7 p.m.) at Barrel gets you $5 beer/wine/whiskey, but take it up a notch with the $8 Old Fashioned or the Peatacolada (with peated scotch). Soak it all in with specials on arancini, spicy wings, and ham and honey butter biscuits.

Boundary Stone – Bloomingdale’s neighborhood bar runs happy hour from 4-7 p.m. and then again late night from 10 p.m.-12 a.m., making it a great spot for hump day drinks and deals. $5 DC Braus and cocktails, $6 wines, $5 select rail drinks, and $7 sandwiches to soak it all up means you will still have some cash to burn the remainder of the week.

Songbyrd – Thursdays call for Tall Boys and Tots at this chill spot in Adams Morgan. With any order of tots, you can get a $3 PBR Tall boy, making it a food and drink match made in heaven. In addition, happy hour from 5-7 p.m. gets you $2 off all beer, $5 wines, $5 rail drinks and $6 sliders.

Colada Shop – Okay, this happy hour doesn't start until April 12, but if you know anything about the Colada Shop, you’ll know it’s bound to be awesome. “Havana Nights” on Thursdays will feature an all-night happy hour from 4 p.m. to close with $6 cocktails, $2 empanadas and Caribbean tunes. We think that's worth waiting for.

DBGB – TGIF! Hopefully that means you can end your day a bit early, especially in the spring and summer months to get that outdoor drinking action going. DBGB’s happy hour starts at 2:30 p.m. and goes until 6, giving you a nice start to the weekend with deals like $6-$8 wine, beer, cocktails and food specials. Take advantage of that patio!

Taqueria Del Barrio – When happy hour runs from 4-8 p.m. on a Friday, everyone is happy. Fill up on $5 margaritas and punches, $5 tacos, $6 wines, $7 nachos with mole and $1 off draft beers. Cheers to the freaking weekend!

Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak, and Snow Crab – This is a great happy hour any day of the week, but for those of us who can’t get out at 2:30 on a weekday, Saturdays are best spent at Joe’s. In the expansive Banking Hall, happy hour from 2:30-6:30 p.m. gets you half-price cocktails, wines and beers. You can also feast on half-price oysters and sandwiches such as an Alaskan king crab roll for $5. Talk about a fun and well- priced Saturday afternoon!

Blackjack – At this popular 14th Street spot, Sunday’s all day happy hour runs from 3 p.m. to close with half-price drafts, $5 wines and a whole bunch of food specials including half-price pizza, $1.40 oysters and $7 cheeseburgers. Now that's what I call Sunday Funday!

Other great options are at Nopa in Penn Quarter where you get a 20 percent discount on all bar menu items (food and drink from 3-9 p.m.), and at Mintwood Place, it’s happy hour all night with $5 house wines and draft beers, and discounted food.
