Friday, March 17 is St. Patrick's Day and whether you are Irish or just like to drink Guinness and Jameson, we've got you covered with the best places to party like a leprechaun in the District.

Union Market and Brightest Young Things Celebration at Suburbia/Buffalo Bergen: Join Union Market (1309 5th Street NE) and Brightest Young Things for food, games, and fun to kick off St. Patrick’s Day weekend on Friday, March 17 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are just $10 and include one complimentary beer and drink specials like $5 frozen Irish coffees, Guinness pints and Jameson shots. Classic Irish favorites will be available for purchase from Union Market vendors, including District Fishwife’s Guinness battered fish and chips, Bidwell’s corned beef sandwich, and Rappahannock Oyster Bar’s Fried Oyster Po’ Boy and Old Bay potato chips for $10 each. Expect a rocking DJ, Irish dancers and games including corn hole and flip cup. Dupont Circle Hotel: St Patrick’s Day is a sophisticated affair at the Irish family-owned Dupont Circle Hotel. Guests can expect the traditional Irish flavors and festivities in a refined and modern space. Both Bar Dupont and Café Dupont are offering up their specials all day Friday, March 17 – Sunday, March 19.
