With less than 72 hours to go until one of the biggest social events of the season, Royal Wedding madness has officially descended upon the District! And whether you plan to revel in the royal couple's royal joy from the comfort of your own couch, or you're attending a blow-out bash, I think we can all agree that we are just dying to see what style Ms. Markle will opt for on the day of her official induction into the Royal Family.
Will she go classic, elegant bride or will she be a royal rebel and sport a bolder look? We turned to the experts and asked five local makeup artists to weigh in on what we can expect beauty wise from Markle as she embarks on her new royal life.

My prediction is that she will have a classic, flawless look with defined eyes, and will be sticking with neutral tones like browns and bronzes; her lips will likely be a cranberry color. I also predict "Old Hollywood" liquid liner with individual lashes and a very soft pink blush to give her that beautiful radiance. I think she looks best when she has natural tones. I wouldn’t suggest a smokey eye, but more of a romantic eye. On top of the bronzer, I would suggest a pink radiant highlighter for extra glow. I would pair that with a berry color lip — not red — but anything with a berry undertone. For her hair, I think we can expect to see a chignon that’s not a structured look, but is soft and sexy. She is going to make it her own, but also respect that she’s the new Princess.

I would love Meghan to look simple, timeless and most of all beautiful. I would expect to see healthy glowing skin with some of her freckles showing through her sheer foundation. I think she'll opt for sheer cream blush, a light brown eyeshadow with a pop of rose gold on her lids, full brows and dark brown, or even black, eyeliner on top of her lush lashes. A little rose gold powder liner can be applied to her bottom lash line, with subtle highlighter applied in the corners of her eyes for a super fresh appearance. Of course, she'll need black waterproof mascara and lots of added individual lashes in assorted lengths for a lush effect. She will finish it off with soft pink lips topped with a sheer gloss.

Markle has been pretty consistent with her makeup look since her engagement to Prince Harry. She traditionally wears a natural smokey eye using “Teddy” MAC eye pencil, which is a golden brown, and lots of mascara (she likes Dior Show or Iconic London mascara) to show off her beautiful deep brown eyes. She likes a more dewy finish foundation like Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk and a shimmering blush like Nars “Orgasm,” which softly highlights her cheekbones. Her signature lip color is a British fave, Charlotte Tilsbury’s “Very Victoria," which is the perfect pinky nude for Markle’s golden skin tone. I think she is going to stay pretty true to this classic and elegant makeup style, with perhaps a touch of glam with some lash extensions to enhance and frame her gorgeous eyes. As far as her hair goes, I hope she keeps it partially down, with loose waves and perhaps a side swept classic “Old Hollywood” look.
Since it's a wedding, there is the expectation of a romantic look, which usually highlights reddish/pink tones in the design. However, given that it is a royal wedding, I could also see the design leaning more towards an elegant classic look instead. To add an additional dimension to the equation, she had a past career in the film industry so she may just be more used to production makeup, which is very clean and natural. If it were me, I would lean 75 percent towards an elegant, timeless look and 25 percent romantic. Based on her personal complexion,I think it's likely she will opt for warmer tones, but I wouldn't be surprised if she adds a dash of silver near the eyes, for a little pop.
Without a doubt, Meghan wants to look timeless on her wedding day, so she will probably opt for a very fresh, lit-from-within, elegant look. I'm thinking dewy skin (not shimmery), rosy cheeks, a classic pink nude lip and curled, perfectly separated eyelashes. She isn’t hiring a makeup artist so she will probably be using her favorite staples like a luxury beauty oil to prep the skin before she applies foundation or cream blush. For the lip and cheek palette, Meghan will more likely choose a rosy, flesh color that provides a youthful and healthy glow. There probably will be a little dark brown or black eyeliner applied and slightly blended before curling the lashes.
