These are the 5 most popular non-invasive plastic surgery procedures in D.C.

Want those love handles to disappear or that aging skin to look 10 years younger, but don't have the time to take off of work for an invasive procedure? Dr. Burton Sundin and Dr. Reps Sundin are here to help with their non-surgical practice, MBody: Modern Body Contouring and Laser Center located in Tysons Corner, Va.

Over the last several years there has been a spike in the number of people looking to do minimally invasive or non-invasive surgeries for both the body and the face. Non-invasive procedures are particularly convenient for men and women in the D.C. area who are always on the go and work, work, work.

We caught up with the doctors to talk about the top five non-invasive procedures, all of which they offer at their practice.

CoolSculpting

This procedure uses cold temperatures to destroy fat cells. It is a non-invasive procedure with no down time. The treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), then die. Over time, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates the dead cells. It can be used on the abdomen, love handles, inner thighs, outer thighs, neck, arms, chest, and back. They have been doing this procedure for six years at MBody and have treated over 5,000 patients.

Cost: Between $1,200 and $6,000 depending on the number of treatment sites purchased.

Power Ultrashape

This non-invasive procedure uses Ultrasonic energy to destroy fat cells . UltraShape treatments harness the power of pulsed ultrasound technology to safely and effectively spot-reduce fat pockets situated in and around your abdomen, flanks, hips, and thighs. Three treatments are recommended for best results.

Cost: Between $2,500 and $6,000 depending on areas treated.

Ultherapy

This non-invasive facial and neck tightening treatment channels the power of ultrasound energy to boost collagen production, a key protein necessary to retain the skin’s youthfully-firm, lifted appearance.

Cost: Between $3,000 and $4,500.

Infini

Infini was developed to offer effective, non-invasive, energy-based treatment for patients who have aging skin, skin laxity, and/or fine lines and wrinkles. While technically not a laser, Infini is powered by high-intensity, focused radiofrequency energy, which restores volume to depleted tissues to firm and smooth the skin. The radiofrequency energy is delivered through gold-coated, insulated microneedles that create precisely controlled fractionated Thermal Coagulation Points at the optimal depth within the dermis (the innermost layers of the skin). Two treatments recommended for best results.

Cost: Each treatment is between $1,500-2,000.

Venus

Venus treatments can be applied to multiple problem areas where a patient wants to tighten and lift the skin or to enhance the contours of their body. It can be an effective non-surgical solution for patients seeking to smooth and tighten skin on the body, face, or neck. This procedure can also reduce the appearance of cellulite. Four treatments needed for best results.

Cost: Between $1,500 and $3,000.
