24 hours of Solidcore-- we promise it's not as scary as it sounds

Raise your hand if you remember how you celebrated your third birthday? Well, we guarantee Solidcore will! For their third anniversary, the full-body workout -- which counts Michelle Obama as a fan -- is hosting 24 continuous hours of classes. Beginning at 7 a.m. on November 5, classes will be held every hour, on the hour, through 7 a.m. on November 6 at the Adams Morgan studio. Classes will be offered for $30 with all proceeds, as well as any additional donations, benefitting Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA).

The charitable marathon of classes could not be a more fitting way for founder Anne Mahlum to celebrate this milestone. A marathon runner herself, Mahlum previously founded and ran a non-profit (Back on My Feet) for six and a half years.

“We chose to work with Partnership for a Healthier America because of their mission as well as to show our support for Mrs. Obama, one of our top clients," said Mahlum.

Naturally, the classes are themed and range from "Michael v. Janet Jackson" to "At 10, we Twerk." Personally, I'm digging the college football & jock jams sesh at 7 p.m., but they BETTER play "Enter Sandman."

So, we'll see you at class at 3 a.m. right...?

Online sign-ups (and a complete rundown of the themes) are available on the event website.
