The District seems to be the new hot spot for boutique gyms and another has just been added to the fitness lineup! Barry's Bootcamp is set to open its first Washington, D.C. location in Dupont Circle this fall. The opening will mark the lifestyle brand’s 38th studio globally.
Barry's Bootcamp claims to be the original boutique lifestyle brand that innovated group fitness by creating an immersive and transformative full-body workout experience. The new D.C. studio will deliver the signature, high intensity workout that has celebs and fitness buffs hooked around the world.
Barry’s signature method utilizes a combination of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) by incorporating 20-25 minutes of interval-based cardiovascular routines on treadmills with 20-25 minutes of strength training using free weights, resistance bands, and more. Additionally, the studio calendar is customized to focus on a different body part each day of the week, offering members a complete, full body workout. Barry’s promises that no class is ever the same.
“Washington, D.C is a fantastic (and fit!) city - we’ve been inundated with requests from people to open here. I can’t wait to watch the Barry’s community take shape and grow,” said Joey Gonzalez, CEO of Barry’s Bootcamp.
The DC studio will be over 5,714 square feet and is located just steps away from the Dupont Circle metro station. The studio will accommodate up to 53 participants, a lifestyle clothing boutique selling Barry’s original workout and athleisure apparel (including exclusive Washington, D.C. pieces); and Barry's signature Fuel Bar, serving healthy and energizing smoothies and snacks.
Barry’s Washington, D.C. is located at 1345 19th Street N.W., Washington, D.C. 20036. Classes at Barry’s Bootcamp Washington, D.C. cost $34 (class packages also available).
