The 5 best Spotify playlists to listen to while workin' on your fitness

If you are anything like me, music is what helps you get motivated and through a long run or hard workout.

I hate having to switch the song in the middle of a workout, so finding a good playlist is basically a necessity prior to hitting the gym.

If you have trouble finding a good workout jam sesh, I am here to save the day! Below you will find all my favorite playlists to listen to while workin' on my fitness.

This playlist has enough songs to get you through your workout, plus more! Listen on your way to the gym and even on the way home. Think Avicii, David Guetta, Bruno Mars, and Sia cheering you on as you log those miles. If you are looking for an upbeat, fast-paced playlist, this is the one for you.

Are you a 90's baby? Do you enjoy hip-hop music? Is Missy Elliot your girrll? If you answered yes to at least two of these questions, then you will love this playlist. Turn the volume up and jam out to some rhymes by Lil Wayne, Missy Elliot, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes and many more. I think this is the perfect playlist for a high-intensity workout.

Can't make it to cycling class? Make your own cycling class with this playlist! I don't think this playlist is upbeat enough for a run, but it has a good mix of fast and medium paced songs, which is good for a bike ride or cycling class. Alternate between cycling sprints and rest periods and get a great workout while listening to some good music.

Are you ready to listen to your new favorite workout playlist? This playlist will make all your other playlists jealous. Throwback Workout is literally good for any type of workout! When I listen to this playlist, I normally do interval training (Sprint, jog, sprint, jog for a few miles). Some songs you can expect to hear on this playlist are 50 Cent "In Da Club", Nelly "Hot in Herre", and Sean Paul "Get Busy."

If you are working on logging as many miles as you can, this is the perfect playlist for you. It will have you moving from the beginning of your first mile to the end of your last mile. Even when you feel like walking, this playlist will make you feel like you can keep going! Who needs a walking break when you have amazing songs to run to!
