Have you ever been in a workout class and realized the playlist was absolutely KILLER? We chatted with nine fitness instructors from five different studios around town to see what songs pump them up the most in class. You're so welcome!(Image: Courtesy Rumble)

Juice by Lizzo: "If I had to listen to one song all day, everyday, it would be this one! Not only is the beat infectious, but the lyrics LITERALLY tell you to look at yourself in the mirror and affirm the greatness that lives within!" (Image: Courtesy 305 Fitness)

Nice For What by Drake (Uptempo Remix): "This song is the push you need when you feel like giving up. The New Orleans Bounce beat forces you to get up, dust yourself off and TWERK!" (Image: Courtesy 305 Fitness)

Jaleo by Nicky Jam and Steve Aoki: "The one word used to describe this song is ELECTRIC! As soon as the beat drops, it’s GO TIME. The tempo changes in this song keep your mind and your body on its toes." (Image: Courtesy 305 Fitness)

"Music is about getting the class to feel something. To vibe with the coach and the workout. There are lows and highs in every class so I will give a song for three different experiences." (Image: Courtesy Rumble)
My Year by Gashi: "If I want the class to get a little more motivated or ready for what is to come I’ll put on 'My Year' by Gashi. Saying “this is my year” is just a great mindset to have."{ }(Image: Courtesy Rumble)
Stranger Things theme song with{ } Biggie Smalls' Hypnotize: "If I want the class to chill out and just vibe I’ll put on a mashup of{ } theStranger Things' theme song with Notorious B.I.G.'s 'Hypnotize.' Stranger Things was pretty popular on Netflix and the song has a trance feel and adding Biggy lyrics just gives it a whole new layer." (Image: Courtesy Rumble)
Game Time by 3LAU Ninja: "If I want the class to give 100 percent, if I want them to feel like an athlete and if I want them to get smoked, I’ll put on 'Game Time.' There are some mashups with this that are fire!!! At the end of the day, the coach has to connect with the music and then share their energy with the class. If the coach can get amped, usually the class will vibe with them." (Image: Courtesy Rumble)

Lose My Breathe by Destiny's Child: "This song makes me want to dance and completely let go! The beat and drum line is iconic." (Image: Courtesy SoulCycle)

Tempo by Lizzo ft. Missy Elliott: "Good luck listening to this without wanting to shake or sweat. Lizzo is the bomb." (Image: Courtesy SoulCycle)

365 by Zedd ft. Katy Perry: "The type of song that gets stuck in your head all day long after class. I love the hook!" (Image: Courtesy SoulCycle)

Freedom by Beyonce ft. Kendrick Lamar: "This beat, these lyrics (a winner don’t quit on themselves), this queen ... need I say more??" (Image: Courtesy Flywheel)

Zombie by The Cranberries: "A slow start builds you up, then that killer chorus frees your inner headbanger." (Image: Courtesy Flywheel)

Peanut Butter by RuPaul ft. Big Freedia: "Speaking of queens, there's no better way to get the energy up than Mama Ru." (Image: Courtesy Flywheel)

Good as Hell (BNDR Remix) by Lizzo: "Lizzo is the ultimate self-love champion and her songs are empowering and uplifting. This was one of her first breakout songs that is still a hit anytime I play it in class." (Image: Courtesy Flywheel)

Apes**t by The Carters: "How can you not get extremely hype when this song comes on? I have a few different remixes I’ve found that I spice it up with, but nothing beats the original." (Image: Courtesy Flywheel)

What’s Up Danger (Black Caviar Remix) by Blackway: "This song has a gritty, dark beat with lots of builds and drops that shape an exercise and help me push my class to exert their best efforts. I’ll use it for short, intense sections of class where you need to dig deep!" (Image: Courtesy Flywheel)

Mistaken Bones (Fuerte + Whaler Edit) by Martin Garrix + Matisse: "This song is amazingly high energy and really gets you going for fast runs on the climber. I love ending class to it, because you walk out on such a euphoric high note." (Image: Courtesy PULSE House of Fitness)

Diva by Beyonce (Homecoming Live featuring elements of Everybody Mad by O.T. Genasis): "Who doesn’t love channeling their inner diva?! This is a great song to dance and let loose to. I encourage my climbers to really get nasty with this one. In D.C., and in 2019, I think we have a tendency to be a little uptight and take ourselves too seriously, and this song is great for taking all that away and making you feel powerful AF." Hello Who Do You Love (Pat C Mashup) by Chainsmokers + 5 Seconds of Summer: "This song is ushering in spring and summer for me. Such a quick happy vibe that puts a smile on your face and encourages you to move those feet just a little bit faster than you want to." (Image: Courtesy PULSE House of Fitness)
Run The World (Girls) by Beyonce : "Can we say CLASSIC? The Major Lazer beat drops and drum build-up in the background get people HYPE in either a Pre-Class or Pre-Rumble Round situation and you cannot deny that people feel this song in their bones. Talk about female empowerment when Beyonce says 'strong enough to bear the children, then get back to business' -- how can you not be compelled and empowered?" (Image: Courtesy Rumble)
Sicko Mode by Travis Scott & Drake : "This is a no-brainer. The beat switch up at 2:56 will get ANYONE in the zone. I love to box, run, plank and vinyasa to this song. I also feel like it embodies how I can switch up my intensities 'like a light,' as Drake would say. Anytime I play this in a transition I can see people 'boxer bouncing' on the beat and just having a good time with it." (Image: Courtesy Rumble)
Danza Kuduro by Don Omar ft. Lucenzo : "This song screams one thing: PARTY TIME. Everyone may not know the words, or Spanish for that matter, but everyone definitely has heard this song whether they were at the beach, club or their friend's birthday party. When I play this in class, introverts all of a sudden become Shakira - it's crazy. People cannot help but tap to their feet to the beat, sway their hips and throw their arms up. A true feel-good classic that will have everyone in the room dancing to that dash of culture, even if no one knows the words, and honestly, that's kind of the beauty of it." (Image: Courtesy Rumble)

PYNK (King Arthur Remix) by Janelle Monáe ft. Grimes: "This song feels like the ultimate celebration! The electro house club beat gives your body a rhythm response that commands you to dance. The energetic tempo is stimulating which is essential to a peak performance and a satisfying workout." (Image: Courtesy 305 Fitness)

Ce Soir (Hugel Remix) by El Profesor ft. Laura White: "This song will get you in THE mood and ultimately increase sexual exploration in physical performance. The bumpin’ beat and erotic lyrics are electrifying which makes a person go into the whole new world of enthusiasm, confidence and thrill keeping your heart rate up." Buscando by GTA & Jenn Morel: "This song is a source of non-stop high-energy. The intensity of the music elevates the vibe, gets you hyped up ready to work and increases the endurance level. The speed and flow of the lyrics supersede the underlying beat keeping you moving steadfast and motivated to experience the HIIT."{ } (Image: Courtesy 305 Fitness)
We Ready by Archie Eversole: "This song came out in 2002 and still gets me just as hype as it did back then. Great beat and super strong lyrics make it a perfect workout song." (Image: Courtesy PULSE House of Fitness)
Turn Down for What by DJ Snake and Lil Jon: The tempo and major drops in this song give you that extra umph to keep pushing the pace, even at the end of a workout." (Image: Courtesy PULSE House of Fitness)
You Can't Stop Me by Andy Mineo: "I play this song ALL the time towards the end of a really tough training session. The lyrics are super motivational and the beat keeps you on pace. " (Image: Courtesy PULSE House of Fitness)
