FitReserve spices up the workout game with D.C. launch

Say goodbye to the days of having a gym membership to one specific gym, and say hello to adding variety into your daily workout routine. There are so many awesome gyms in the DMV, so why do we have to commit to just one? Well, you don't!

FitReserve, which launched in the DMV on May 16 is the premier multi-studio fitness membership that allows you to mix and match classes from a curated selection of the top studios in New York City, Boston, and now Washington, D.C at over 50 percent off retail. Members can choose from yoga, Pilates, barre, indoor cycling, boxing, tennis, boot camp, dance, and more, and mix and match with one convenient all-access membership.

"We created FitReserve to simplify your active lifestyle with one convenient, all-access membership that allows you to mix and match classes from the top studios at a more accessible price point," said Megan Smyth, CEO & Co-founder of FitReserve. "FitReserve caters to the consumer who values convenience and flexibility, and there are no other options providing the same level of class access as FitReserve."

With over 60 studios in the DMV already signed on to participate in FitReserve, Smyth says that D.C. seemed like the obvious next step for the business. “Expanding to Washington, DC, ranked the fittest city in America three years in a row, was a logical next step, especially with its rapidly growing boutique fitness scene,” added Smyth. “Also, I was a Georgetown grad and my co-founder grew up in the D.C. Metro area, so it is a market that holds a personal connection for us.”

Like FitReserve competitor, ClassPass, they offer multiple membership options, but unlike ClassPass who maxes out memberships at 10 classes/month, FitReserve offers a Platinum package of 20 classes/month for $225.

Other membership options include:

  • Sampler: 3 classes/month for $55
  • Starter: 5 classes/month for $75
  • Gold: 10 classes/month for $135

"FitReserve stands out from other multi-studio memberships by offering unique benefits like access to entire studio schedules, including all peak class times (no blackout days or times), four monthly plans to choose from depending on your desired activity level and the ability to attend each studio up to four times per month, so you can make your favorite workout part of your weekly routine, and exclusive perks with discounts on apparel, nutrition, and lifestyle brands," said Smyth.

Not only does FitReserve focus on fitness, but they also have "perk partners," which allows you to receive discounts on massages, workout apparel, healthy eating, and more. Smyth says "perk partners" will be expanding in the coming months to include more local D.C. businesses.

"Fitness is a way of life, but it also has to fit your life, which is where FitReserve comes in. By providing access to all class times at top studios, you can work out when and where you want with no restrictions. Plus, with yoga, Pilates, boxing, boot camp, tennis, dance and more...you can continually mix up your workouts to never get bored," added Smyth.

DC Refined readers can get 20% of their first three months on FitReserve by entering the code DCREFINED20 at checkout.
