Thanksgiving is only 10 days away -- it's so close we can almost taste the mashed potatoes and stuffing!
I think we can all agree the post-dinner nap is one of the best parts of Thanksgiving, but it’s those Thanksgiving morning traditions that tend to divide people into two distinct categories: the people who veg out on their couches watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the people who lace up their sneakers to run in a “turkey trot” and preemptively burn off those holiday calories.
If you're in the second category, here is a list of turkey trots and other Thanksgiving races in the DMV area we recommend!

There is a one-mile run for "little turkeys" and adult participants can opt to be timed or untimed in the 5k run. Registration costs $50 on race day but $40 prior.
