The Stanley Cup champs start selling 2018-19 single-game tickets

Somehow it has already been 62 days since a championship graced Washington, D.C. -- I can still feel the excitement coursing through the city like it was yesterday! But the good news is we only to wait 56 more days before the fun starts all over again! The 2018-2019 season is just around the corner and starting August 9, single game tickets will be available for purchase.

The Caps will kick off this monumental season at home against the Boston Bruins on October 3, when they will also unveil their 2018 Stanley Cup Championship banner in a pregame ceremony.

Given the fact that the Capital One Arena has been sold out for 415 consecutive games, including every home game during the 2017-2018 season, I would say act fast if you are looking for tickets! And remember... #BACKTOBACK!

Home dates to remember:

  • Oct. 3 - Season and home opener at Capital One Arena versus Boston Bruins
  • Oct. 10 - The Capitals host the Western Conference Champions Vegas Golden Knights
  • Oct. 17 - The New York Rangers make their first of two visits to Capital One Arena
  • Nov 5 - The Capitals host Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers
  • Nov. 7 - The Capitals play Pittsburgh for the first time since eliminating them from the 2018 Eastern Conference Semifinal
  • Nov. 11 - The Capitals host the Arizona Coyotes on Sunday night on Veterans Day
  • Nov. 21 - The Capitals and the Chicago Blackhawks face off the day before Thanksgiving
  • Dec. 31 - Washington hosts the Nashville Predators on New Year's Eve
  • Feb. 3 - Washington hosts Boston on Super Bowl Sunday
  • April 7 - The Capitals conclude their 2018-19 regular-season schedule at home against the New York Islanders

You can see the full season schedule here.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, August 9 at 10 a.m. You can purchase tickets at the Capital One Arena box office, by calling 1-800-745-3000 or online at WashingtonCaps.com.
