Samantha is a former attorney, now full-time creative pursuing a life rich in art, food, and adventure. People said it couldn't be done, but she managed to trade in her legal briefs for a career that pays her to do the things she loves most: eat, entertain, and explore. She covers food, entertaining and travel as a freelance writer drawing on her experience as the daughter of a chef. Her father taught her that food and cooking is about more than fulfilling the need for sustenance, it is at the core of who we are and how we relate to each other. It is this philosophy about food that drives her passion for entertaining, travel and discovery and ultimately lead her down this path. She also wears the hats of food blogger, for I'm So Cooked!, and part-time caddy for her golfer husband.
As a true Michigander, she lives for the colder months and spends each hot summer day counting down until the start of Hockey season. But, despite the scorching sticky DC summers, the District has stolen her heart making this her forever home where all her stories begin and end.
