Baltimore Ravens' Tony Jefferson puts home on the market for under $1 million

When I think of athlete bachelor pads, I don't exactly think of beautifully-designed, single-family homes nestled at the end of a cul-de-sac. But for Tony Jefferson -- a 25-year-old strong safety who signed with the Baltimore Ravens in March, 2017 -- a stately brick-front house in the private Dulaney View neighborhood of Maryland was exactly what the doctor ordered when he moved from Arizona to Baltimore.

However, after less than a year, Jefferson is making a move to downsize. The three-story property was custom-designed by CalAtlantic Homes in 2017 and is an EPA Green-Verified Home. It's outfitted with five bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms and all the "extra goodies" you could want, from a high-end chef's kitchen to a soaking tub in the master bathroom, a home theater with a $6,000 built-in projector, a rec room and Hunter Douglas Power Roller Shades installed on all the windows.

When you walk in the house, you enter a grand, two-story foyer, off which sit several living and dining room areas with wide plank hardwood floors. The foyer and living room ceilings soar to 20-feet high, while nine-foot ceilings are found in all the remaining spaces. A neutral/warm greige color palette and recessed lighting flows throughout the home. But a real bonus on the main level is a private in-law/au-pair suite featuring a bathroom, walk-in closet and a kitchenette complete with granite counters and plenty of cabinet storage.

A wrought-iron staircase leads upstairs to the master suite, with double walk-in closets, and a spa bathroom with plantation shutter window coverings, soaking tub, separate shower (with a seat) and double vanities with granite counters. Three more bedrooms and two bathrooms complete the upper level.

The lower level is definitely the "fun level" with a backyard patio for entertaining, fully-finished rec room, home theater with a built-in screen system, wet bar with mosaic-tiled backsplash and an additional bathroom. Two additional rooms can be utilized to the new owner's liking.
