Washington National Opera's Tosca: Love gets political in Puccini’s striking drama set against 18th-century Rome. Passionate singer Tosca takes matters into her own hands when dreaded chief of police Scarpia hunts for her lover. But no one is guaranteed to get out alive. Tickets are $35.

Jazz in the Garden: The summertime favorite returns! Jazz in the Garden takes place in the Sculpture Garden on the grounds of the National Gallery of Art, every Friday through August 23 from 5-8:30 p.m. During jazz concerts, the Pavilion Café offers a special menu of creative American cuisine and refreshments, including a beer and wine menu. In addition to the return of audience favorites like Black Masala, Son del Caribe, and the Funky Dawgz Brass Band, this year's lineup will feature new performers like Rob Curto's Forró for All, Adwela & the Uprising, and The Bailsmen. Rent the Runway x Compass Coffee: Rent the Runway is taking over the Georgetown Compass Coffee from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. to bring you a fashionable pick me up. Visitors will have the opportunity to preview RTR’s summer 2019 collection while you enjoy complimentary Compass coffee. You'll also have a chance to try RTR Unlimited at a discounted price -- $100 off your 60-day trial. If you can't make it out on Friday, visit the Roastery or Spring Valley locations on Saturday. Free Ball Friday: The Meatball Shop is giving you one more reason to celebrate Fridays, with Free Ball Fridays. They'll be giving away a free order of naked balls to anyone and everyone who stops by from 3 6:30 p.m. on Fridays for the month of May. Guests will also be given a voucher for a free drink or dessert on their next visit to The Meatball Shop. Free to attend.

Yoga at the Kennedy Center: Enjoy a free, all-levels vinyasa yoga class in the Grand Foyer as part of the Kennedy Center's Sound Health program connecting the performing arts to mind-body wellness. An instructor from a different local yoga studio leads each session, and this weekend instructor Chris Duling is teaching. Free to attend.

Black Tie Gala at the Embassy of Spain: Experience the joys of Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, and Pamplona as we visit the Former Residence of the Ambassadors from Spain. Enjoy a live Flamenco dance show, an open Sangria bar and Spanish dessert buffet. Tickets start at $94.

Goat Yoga: We're not kidding around! Join a herd of young baby kids for the first ever Goat Yoga in the city! Roll out your mats for a 45-minute gentle and informative yoga class taught by the esteemed Kelly Carnes, while the cutest baby goats roam and take advantage of you transforming yourself into a little hill for their climbing pleasure. Tickets are $40.

Sushi Class: O-Ku DC is hosting their monthly sushi class to teach guests the art of making sushi by preparing a few of O-Ku’s signature rolls. Guests get a welcome cocktail, passed bites and sake samples as they are led through the sushi making steps by the O-Ku culinary team. Tickets are $85.

Republic Restorative Anniversary Party: D.C. favorite Republic Restoratives is hosting a third anniversary party featuring handcrafted cocktails, delicious bites and even limited-edition swag. From noon to 6 p.m. the city’s only women-owned distillery will welcome well-wishers with original Republic Restoratives cocktails made with their signature spirits: Civic Vodka, Rodham Rye, Borough Bourbon and Chapmans Apple Brandy. Adam Zerhouni’s Annapolis gem New Standard Sandwich will provide the food and guests will take home screen-printed T-shirts made on-site exclusively for the event by Soul & Ink. Free to attend.
